It’s All About Collaboration

Great piece by Joe Pacitti, Managing Director of CeeD, writing in the Scotsman:

To move towards more revolutionary innovation inherently comes with greater risk as the collaborative forces required to assist the process require more engagement of partners not generally known to the group, and so the process is one which is much more challenging.

However, if we continue to look for ways and insights on how to accelerate the process of developing great innovative products and services, then it is sensible to consider how to do this.

Collaborative, or Open, Innovation is like Air. It’s essential.

Few organisations have the resources to deliver significant revolutionary progress in a Closed Innovation environment, without leaning on partnerships with companies, Universities and RTO’s.

Open Innovation provides the means to focus on your strengths, with risks directed to strengths of partners in the consortium.
